Pre-Production | Production | Post-Production

The first – and perhaps most important step – in the production process is developing and understanding your vision.  In other words:  What’s your video going to look like?  What are your motivations, goals, key messages and potential uses of the final video? 

We have developed a video development worksheet that we ask all clients to complete before our first meeting to help us fully understand their vision.  With this worksheet, we can help you choose what style of video works best for you and move on to the next steps.  

PRODUCTION

The Shoot

LEHD Media has the ability to shoot in standard definition and 24P standard definition.  Shooting in standard definition (as opposed to high-definition) keeps our clients’ costs down and ultimately produces a manageable file size that is easier to stream from your server. 

Our team, which will most likely consist of one to two people depending on the size of the project, will arrive at the time scheduled and set up for the shoot with all necessary equipment (including a green screen if required and contracted).   This is when our team would help with set design and make-up, if necessary.  

As established through the contract for your project, our team will shoot for the determined length of time. If more time is needed, additional costs will be discussed. You will not be charged if we are responsible for the delay.

POST-PRODUCTION

1.  Editing and Post Review Cycle

After editing, color correcting, mixing and laying a music bed to your video, you will receive the compressed online video. This process can take up to 30 days to complete.  You will be able to review your video via a private login on the LEHD Media website and notify us of any changes you wish to make (per the terms of your contract).  If you do have any suggestions or changes for the video, we will gladly work on it further to produce a piece you are 100% satisfied with.

2.  Final Review

LEHD Media requires a final review / meeting to ensure you are satisfied with your video.  The final video will be delivered to you on a DVD as well as an embed code if you wish to add Enhanced Video Deployment.  At this point, we require a sign off stating the project has been completed.
